Harrell the Heisman?...Think again

What are your opinion on Texas Tech's QB being left off the Heisman ballot?

I personally think he should have been invited. He has better numbers passing than Colt McCoy, who they upset. If they can invite 3-6 people per year, I can't understand why he didn't recieve an invitation. And the whole mathematical forumla on how the Heisman Trust votes to see who comes for the award is a load of BS imo.

I really don't know what to think, it is very close between all of them. I still feel he should have got an invite. Just look at the stats

Bradford, 302-443 (68.3%), 4,464 yds, 48 TD, 6 INT, 186.29 Rat

McCoy, 291-375 (77.6%), 3,445 yds, 32, TD, 7 INT, 179.20 Rat, also he had 576 yds rushing and 10 TD

Tebow, 174-268 (64.9%), 2,515 yds, 28 TD, 2 INT, 176.74 Rat, also he had 564 yds rushing and 12 TD

Harrell, 406-568 (71.5%), 4,747 yds, 41 TD, 7 INT, 163.03 Rat.

Harrell definately had the numbers to be there but all are pretty equal. Tebow's stats don't look quite as impressive but you got to take into account the Defenses he faces week in and week out. So it is a tough call, I say give it to Colt McCoy. No matter who gets it I think they earned it.

I think he should have been there definitely. I wouldn't have voted for him to win the thing, but his play should have at least been rewarded with an invite to the thing.

Well my boy Eric Berry just lost the Jim Thorpe Award to Malcolm Jenkins. Highway Robbery. I could have accepted Taylor Mays beating him out because he is a beast but Jenkins.

You can combine Mays' and Jenkins' INT for the year and they still don't equal Berrys'. But what do I know.
